• Usage data: Render history, credit transactions, API usage analytics
• Uploaded content: Videos you upload for processing (temporarily stored)
• Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, error logs

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Service (video processing, rendering, exports)
• To process payments and manage your credit balance
• To send transactional emails (password resets, receipts)
• To analyze usage patterns and improve performance
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate elevideo:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, backend hosting
• Stripe — Payment processing
• Deepgram — Speech-to-text transcription
• AWS (Remotion Lambda) — Server-side video rendering
• Cloudflare R2 — File storage
• Amplitude — Product analytics

Each third party operates under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded videos are retained for up to 30 days after processing, then automatically deleted. Account data and render history are retained for the lifetime of your account. Payment records are retained as required by law.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication via Firebase Auth, and access controls on all storage systems. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies (Amplitude) to understand usage patterns. No advertising cookies are used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
